Program Overview & Highlights
- Learn how to facilitate evidence-based injury prevention programming for elementary and middle school students in your community, including the Teddy Bear Clinic, sponsored by Stony Brook Children’s Pediatric Trauma Center.
- Discover engaging and effective strategies to promote a culture of shared roadway responsibility. (Curriculum developed with input from Impact Teen Drivers and Passenger Power.)
- Gain knowledge in evidence-based strategies focused on:
- Distractions
- Seat belts
- Helmet safety
- Bicycle/Pedestrian safety
- Empowering passengers to speak up for safety

Why This Matters

The conference is being held on Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 8am to 1pm at the Stony Brook Children's Hospital, MART Auditorium and Atrium (Lauterbur Drive). Please park in the main parking lot (parking costs $10). Coffee and a continental breakfast will be provided mid-morning.
