Children's Night at the Long Island Ducks included the Annual Health and Safety Expo along with MARVEL Spider-Man and Iron Man meet and greet appearances, and the Stony Brook Children's Hospital Fun Zone. Many Stony Brook experts attended the Health Fair including experts on ticks and Lyme disease, water and cycle safety, and our Child Life services team were there with teddies and other props to talk kids through hospital treatment protocols.
Caitlin Feeks, DO - Pediatric Emergency Medicine was honored to throw the ceremonial first pitch. Caitlin is also Clinical Assistant Professor in Pediatrics.
On the night the Long Island Ducks defeated the Staten Island FerryHawks 1-0 in the opener of a three-game midweek series. The Ducks went on to win the series. Go Ducks!!
